We provide a thorough and comprehensive service, and this often involves taking a detailed history, and especially if you have a long and complicated history, if you write down as much as you can remember before you get here it helps make the consultation more efficient. Similarly if you bring in any previous specialist letters, endoscopy reports or other reports, it will really help us to help you.
Please consider bringing in a significant other, who can help provide more details of your history, and most importantly help you to remember what is said during the consultation. It is often daunting seeing a specialist and so much information may need to be conveyed to you, and we know that if you have someone with you they can help remember some of the information
We know that situations arise, and an appointment time may need to be changed. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please email us or ring us at least 24 hours in advance and we can arrange an alternate date for you, as well as giving someone else the opportunity to being seen in your place.
We hope that you have allowed enough time to get to your appointment, but if unforeseen circumstances arise, and you find yourself running late please phone us on (08) 95281192. We might not be able to pick up the phone as we will be running the clinic but we will be able to pick up your voicemail message.

Please allow 30 minutes for a new patient consultation, and 15 minutes for a follow up. However each patient is different and each visit is different so sometimes its quicker and sometimes longer.
