Consultation

Prior to being seen by a specialist you will need a referral from your GP. Consultation days and times vary with each week and depend on the doctor. As a rough guide Dr Nagree consults some Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, dependent on which week in the month it is, all in the morning. Dr Pulusu consults Monday mornings and some Wednesdays. Dr Nasa consults on some Thursdays. Unfortunately Dr Nagree is no longer taking on new patients. Endoscopy

For privately insured patients or patients willing to pay for it themselves procedures can be done at Waikiki Private Hospital under a No Gap arrangement. Procedures can be done every day of the week, dependent on which week in the month it is. For further information regarding availability please contact the rooms on (08) 95281192 or preferably via email : reception@nagree.net. If your GP has already advised you that you need the procedure and you are happy to book in for this directly without being seen for a formal consultation beforehand then please contact the rooms and book for an open access procedure. If you would like to discuss the procedure or other general matters including your symptoms in detail then you should book in for a consultation first, and the procedure will be arranged by the doctor after you have been seen in the rooms. For public patients you have two options if you may need an endoscopic procedure. Your GP can refer you directly for the procecure to Peel Health Campus or Fiona Stanley Hospital (also incorporating Rockingham Hospital). Currently the waiting time at Fiona Stanley Hospital/Rockingham Hospital is shorter than Peel Health Campus. If your GP feels that you do need the procedure and you are happy to be booked in directly for this then this is the quicker option. The other option is you can see one of the doctors here for a consultation and if he feels an endoscopic procedure is required then he will place you on the general waiting list at Fiona Stanley Hospital/Rockingham Hospital or Peel Health Campus.
